We (Sikat Dance Company) will be hosting our first Urban Hip Hop Dance Competition called PRELUDE on Sunday, June 19th, 2011.
Judges:
Steve Bolton:
Owner and founder of the 8 Count Dance Complex, director and choreographer of Blueprint Dance Inc. (aka Blueprint Cru), director of Hip Hop Dance Canada, founder of Raise the Bar and established choreographer, Steve Bolton is still working on accomplishing more.
Kerry Koble:
Kerry is one of the most dynamic, exciting and explosive performers in Edmonton, Alberta. Kerry is the founder and a dancer in the “Fly Girls” E-towns hypest all girl professional dance group. These fierce females can be seen performing every weekend at Rum Jungle.(western Canada’s largest night club) She is also a member of the hip hop crew “3rd Street Beat” who delivers the hottest shows in western Canada. As well as being an incredible performer, Kerry is a phenomenal hip hop instructor.
Dammecia Hall:
Winnipeg’s very own Dammecia Hall has trained in many genres of dance, anywhere from Modern to Hip Hop. Graduating from the Senior Professional Program of contemporary Dancers in 2004, Dammecia began her professional career working with NAfro Dance Productions which introduced Dammecia to the fusion of African and Modern dance. Being inspired and gravitating towards the African genre, it was only natural that Dammecia found herself immersed in Hip Hop!For further information please click below:
